The Chairman of the Federal Civil Service Commission Bows Out of Service

The Chairman of the Federal Civil Service Commission, Amb. Ahmed AL-Gazali retires from the Federal Civil Service after a successful completion of two tenures of five years each.

The retirement takes effect from Monday October 31st 2011.  Other Federal Commissioners who are leaving the Service with him include Amb. Mahmud Kazaure - Jigawa/Kano/Katsina/Kaduna, Dr.Adamu Yabani – Borno/Yobe/Bauchi, , Alhaji Aliyu Wali – Niger/Federal Capital Territory. Mrs Lami Buba - Adamawa/Gombe and Taraba Alhaji Yusuf Yabo - Zamfara/Kebbi/ Sokoto.

Federal Civil Service Commission Concludes Promotion Interview/Examination for Directorate Cadre in the Federal Civil Service

The Federal Civil Service Commission has successfully conducted the service wide 2011 Promotion Interview/Examination for eligible officers on the Directorate Cadres (GL 14 – 16) in the Federal Civil Service.

Assessment of the papers commenced on Wednesday, 11th September 2011 and ended on Saturday 14th October 2011.

A total of 3,569 officers on Salary Grade Levels 14 – 16 who had matured for promotion participated in the exercise.  The breakdown of the candidates interviewed are as follows:

The Honourable Chairman of the Federal Civil Service Commission, Amb. Ahmed Al- Gazali has commended the Kenyan Civil Service Commission for understudying Federal Civil Service Commission.
